Anyone seen the algorithm used to find all possible letter/digit permutations of a word/number? I need one to find all possible combinations of "words" given certain letters, preferably a recursive one. I found one some months ago in C#, but I forgot to copy it down >_<

o_o There are many progs that do that already out there. As far as I know you can't code....

That was my impression. I recall the topic where you said you don't know php, then you asked for this list which is fairly simple to design in any language. Designing a prog to interact with another prog (possibly imitating cursor movements) seems much more complicated. Forgive me if I was wrong.

I think he was asking for the algorithm not the language bigeyes.gif

You need to understand algorithm before you can code complex projects sbiggrin.gif

php is one language. Thats like saying "omfg you don't know Russian, you can't speak" -_-

anyway, I could have figured something like this out, I just didn't see the point when I've got you guys to do it for me.

I just remembered that you and grand were arguing about it, and he said something like "You can't code." and you replied "I can learn." I figured that implied you didn't know.

You lazy git stongue.gif But I do the same thing sbiggrin.gif

What language do you know/use?

I dunno, I learn bits and pieces of everything, but mostly BASIC (and it's various counterparts), HTML (and it's various counterparts), and a bit of JavaScript. I haven't looked at php so I don't know if I can code it.

lol, that topic was about PHP, so I inferred PHP when I said he can't code.

shifty.gif So that's why you asked me to do the JS thing... Because you were a "lazy git"! XD

You already know most of Java to get the cert o_o I suggested it because it will improve your job/college application. Besides, you know I'll bug you anyways stongue.gif

No I actually asked you to do the JS thing because, for once, I was totally clueless and had no idea where to look. Once you started me off though, remember it was I who debugged your faulty code stongue.gif ssmile.gif

And I know what you meant when you said I couldn't code, I was just clarifying I can code, and can learn new coding pretty easily, but I have never looked at PHP.

It was a requirement -_- if coding was your job you would have been fired by now stongue.gif good thing you had a trusty de-bugger to pick up your slack swink.gif swink.gif

I'd make a much better de-bugger than a programmer.
