Thanks to this nifty program, you can quite easily run reports and get a text print out of all your system specs to share with us.

Before we start, I genuinely love 98SE and am also in the middle of upgrading my PC's hardware stongue.gif but here is some of my specs, and yeah, it's pretty low-level stuff. I think o_0.

Hey Dae, how come you don't have Dual channel memory? What about DDR2? What about the 800 MHz ones?

the fans use frequency deadening and no with the watercooling it stays at 90 degrees. as for memory when i got the board it didnt have the options of ddr2 and 800MHz is the FSB speed.

They don't have 800 MHz memory?

ummmm no. really i dont need it all that much. my video card has its own memory so i dont have to worry about that affecting my speed. and really i dont do any high intensity gaming. so 400 MHz is fine

What are the improvements of DDR2 and dual channel over the conventional DDR?

What the heck?

Since when did we go to P4? I thought you wanted good battery power. You get that out of Turion or Centrino.

This is a refurbished laptop, bought for less than $500. It's pretty good with what's there. ssmile.gif

I'll just hook this thing up to an outlet wherever I go anyhow...

You can get a very good laptop of the identical features (except with Centrino) for 450 o_O
