Full Character Name (s): Kurro'ten (birth name Kurro Smallbranch)
Character Nickname (s): Kurro
Age / Date of Birth: Estimated at around 3000 years old (more accurately, around 3420), but it is not known precisely, even to Kurro. Birth date is in Elvish, the 5th day of the water season (ie: spring) 1905 (Elvish year).
Class / Job: Ex-Assassin
Gender: Male
Relatives: Entire race presumed to be deceased. He has lost all memory of them anyway.
Height / Weight: Around 8 feet tall. Weight is surprisingly small for his height, given he is an Elf, but he hasn't been formally weighed in millenia.
Other Physical Attributes / Appearances: Rather skinny, long flowing black hair, deep black eyes (scorched black from overuse of magic), extremely smooth complexion, not a single scar, cut or spot on his skin anywhere, his eyebrows are the only part which gives away his age - they are always scowling in an inquisitive manner, like a wise old man searching for hidden answers behind every move and breath.
Mental Attributes / Personality: Although his intelligence is vast, in knowledge of nature, and his grasp at making sharp decisions, his social skills have a lot to be desired of. Thousands of years of fighting and killing has taken its toll, and after seeing all the things he has (which is countless) and coming so close to death (in fact, dying along with the rest of the world in one saga, only to be reincarnated in a fake world with half his memory stolen), he has become extremely reclusive. After the fall of the United World Police (UWP), he had no other reason to exist, and retreated far into the woodland to sleep for years, and when he finally awoke, he existed simply to think and live. Only after a chance encounter with a descendent of an ally forced him to emerge from his hiding, leaving all traces of personality behind. Expect little more than basic communication from Kurro'ten.
Background / History: To keep it brief, Kurro was once an Elf, born on a planet split (literally) in half between Elves and Men. Kurro grew far too strong in magic and fighting at far too young an age, and his immaturity led him to be classed a danger to all and banished, first from his tribe, and then from the entire Elf land. He had to fight to survive in the Man world, and had a chance encounter with a 'Ten alien, disguised as a Man. The alien recognised Kurro's great skill, and saw him to be an asset to the world if he could control his temper and rage. He sent the young Elf to the 'Ten planet to learn from them both physical and spiritual skills to advance himself as a warrior and an intellectual being.

Kurro (now christened Kurro'Ten, honorary, after his centuries training under the 'Ten) was allowed to return home a strong, mature and deadly individual, after sensing great danger and fear back home. He was greeted by a world almost united again, but under the tyrany and fear of the UWP. Initially he was rejected by the remaining Elves for fear of him betraying them, for he was now much stronger and magical than when he left, but they still sensed a great danger within him. He was soon attacked by some UWP officers, but he beat them off easily. The UWP immediately sent out an entire squadron to capture the Elf, and after losing many soldiers to him, they were successful and took him in to meet the head of the UWP himself, an alien called Dochavy. Finding himself once again lost and hurt in the Man world, he accepted Dochavy's offer to join the UWP as an elite officer, an assassin who is sent out to far off lands to spread the might of the UWP. Kurro initially only seeked to exact revenge upon the Elves who had denied him a home, but as he advanced through the UWP ranks, Kurro was being sent to places and times far away from his homeworld, thanks to Dochavy's advanced technology. He was now nothing more than a hired killer for a race he hated more than his own, and he grew to loather the UWP.

Although sworn to remain loyal to the UWP until his dying day (and perhaps beyond), Kurro had began staging more public and more dangerous attacks on the UWP, but was still given greater weapons and trust by the company. Something didn't add quite up, but Kurro was happy enough to accept the gifts and naivety of the UWP at face value, if it gave him more time and power to dismantle them from the inside.

Kurro's missions were vastly different from the one before - he had to kill a man who would become his best friend and greatest ally in the fight against the UWP in another world, he had to protect his family from a ghostly beast 2000 years before his own birth, and several times he had to face off against the most terrible demon of them all - lvl4. This being, covered completely in silver, could not defeat Kurro on their first encounter, as the Elf was at this point at the peak of his game, plus the battle took place on a UWP storage facility deep in space. However, Kurro himself could not put and end to 4, and the being escaped. It was during this battle that Kurro first encountered the Ulon Tang, and from the second he gripped it's handle, he knew it was his weapon.

Even after he had mastered using the Ulon Tang, Kurro still could not defeat the silver one, but forced him to destroy the world in order to end the eternal torment. The world reformed, causing Kurro to lose a good portion of his memory, but over time he managed to re-find the Ulon Tang, hunt down lvl4 for a final showdown, and dissasemble the UWP. As the UWP tower exploded, Kurro arrogantly stayed to watch Dochavy burn. However, he was now locked in the boss's office with only once two choices of escape - leaping in the soon-to-be-destroyed transporter, thus never being able to return again, or to burn with the rest of the tower. He chose life.

After healing for a short while, and re-evaluating his life in the deep woodlands of a bizarre planet, Kurro was approached by his best friend Nayo - the very man he had killed in another dimension. However, this version was still very much alive, and although having never met Kurro before, he seemed to remember fighting alongside him. Nayo brought word of another great demon, a relative of lvl4's, and the two became involved in a fight which made his his war with the UWP seem like a childish spat. Kurro had to use every last drop of magic left in his body, combined with the complete powers of Ulon and the other Elvish gods (who Kurro befriended after a 'short' stint in heaven) to enclose the terrible montrosity in a time warp. Kurro's eyes burned over as a result of this - a pitch black veil formed through which he now views the world in a completely different perspective. But what really burned out that day was his mystic energy. Never again could the Ragnaton, the beast he had to battle with, move, but equally never again could Kurro cast a spell. The Ulon Tang was also almost drained of all it's powers. Kurro now only had his intense training under 'Ten and heaven's own, his natural fighting ability, and the numerous weapons he has collected to rely on in a fight. However, some being with a power and authority much higher than god had decided otherwise. Ragnaton was banished from all memory, but Kurro'Ten had been restored to all his glory. So too, had lvl4 and the ghostly creature that seemed to always get wrapped up in their adventures. Kurro was taken to meet a wise old mage, who would give him all the knowledge of the universe, but first he had to pass a test - to defeat the poltergeist soul-reaper. Kurro failed that test. Ulon, annoyed by the constant toying of his mortality by others, became physical, knocking Kurro out and defeating the poltergeist himself. The mage looked over Kurro's limp body, sighed with disgust, and removed him from her planet.
Equipment / Clothing: Usually dressed in very long, flowing cloaks and capes, Kurro has also been known to dress in minimalistic clothes - a plain, brown vest top, rather tight, camoflauge-coloured trousers, and shin-high boots (as opposed to his usual thigh-high). This is reflective of the short period when he left the for a life in the mountains, where the dampness of snow slowed down anyone wearing flowing robes. His equipment is mostly stored in a back-pack - food, water, various knifes, home-made bombs, and other useful items. His pack has become rather jumbled up over the years. On his actual body, Kurro always carries two long knifes in his boots, the handles sticking out just far enough for him to grip easily during battle. An extremely long, thin sword in a holster runs along his spine between his vest and pack. The only magical item on him, apart from the Ulon Tang, is this holster - although the blade is normal, when it is sheathed the holster can bend and warp to fit Kurro's back perfectly, allowing him to somersault through the air with the blade merging around his spine, if he so wished. Finally, he always has the Ulon Tang. This is a rather large, fat, sword, which looks transparent and crystal-like normally. But housed inside is the spirit of an Elven god. When awakened, the Ulon Tang glows bright blue. Ulon (the god) has the power to exist of his own mind, sending thoughts out to Kurro (and anyone nearby) and even managing to move the blade of his own free will. Previously, Ulon's main use was magical, like Kurro, and he could easily dispose of terrible opponents without even having to be unholstered. However, after the fight with Ragnaton, Ulon lost all of his magical powers. He then chose to offer guidance to Kurro during a fight, distracting his opponents, or becoming temporarily in control of his own cage to offer mild protection if Kurro ever became separated from his blade, or knocked out. However, after the encounter with the mage and the reaper, it is not known whether Ulon will remain loyal to Kurro (if he should meet back up with his Elvish master) or attempt to completely separate himself from the blade that has trapped him for eons.
Other Information: I could go on for hours about the various tales of Kurro, his specific battles and all the characters he has encountered, but I believe the main gist of it was explained in this bio. At this moment, disregarding the Kingdom of Thieves saga, which is on-going, Kurro has regained all of his physical and magical strengths, but lost his memory and the Ulon Tang in the process. It is up to the 'powers that be' now to decide if he still has a role in this plane of existence.

Only one of them. Kinmotsu. He has been a dick as long as I can remember, and I guess he feels pretty much the same way about me. One of the few people I can honestly say I do not like in the slightest.
