Full Character Name: Har the Navigator (Li Qian Xia)
Character Nickname: Har; sometimes said with an intentional exlamation point for more feeling.
Age / Date of Birth: 24/ December 18th
Class / Job: Har works three jobs, all on the ship the PCS Pirateer, part of the fleet headed by Comandeer Pirate of Arabia. Mainly, he is a navigator of his ship and knows the seas well. When the days are cool and there is no wind and nowhere to navigate, Har retires into his bar right on the ship, where he serves PoA rum. Furthermore, he serves as the cook, knowing many recipes and being able to cook many different dishes from various nations.
Gender: Male
Relatives: Har was born into a pirate family in China. He soon moved however, as the Japanese invaded and his entire family was killed in a pre-dawn raid (His mother, father, 2 brothers and sister were all killed). He moved in with his uncle not too much later and they decided to go to Arabia, where they found Comandeer Pirate of Arabia. His uncle, now age 55, serves as a lookout assistant to Har when he is navigating his ships.
Height / Weight: 5'7" 145lbs
Other Physical Attributes / Appearances: Har has a keen sense of direction as well as cooking. He can smell a good dish from a mile away and can differentiate between what is good food and bad food just from a little taste. Because he loves food so much, Har has grown much fatter. He is no longer the skinny person he was as a high schooler in Medina back in the day. Har has brown eyes and has prefect vision. He has never taken an eye test however, but he can tell you that he can read the headlines of a newspaper from over a half mile away.

Mental Attributes / Personality: Har is well versed in many different aspects of humanities. He loves to read history and study mathematical proofs and look at scientific discoveries. Navigating has become his first love and he is usually the first off the ship when it lands, no matter where. Debate with Har and you will surely lose, as he has a cache of quotes said by many men in the past. His favorite: George Sayatana's "Those who do not study the past, are doomed to repeat it". Alas, those who fight Har, have not studied the past for they do not know him well.

As for his personality, Har's mood is best looked as an optimist. Even on the darkest of days and worst of battles, Har's mood never becomes pessimistc. He believes that there is always a chance, and nothing is for certain. As any navigator, Har looks for a good adventure—this can both be seen on his bookshelf and his telescope collection, both which he uses to look far into the distance for potential enemies, quote and read literature, or just glance into the stars.

Background / History: Har was born into a family of 5, he being the youngest. At age 7, his hometown of Xiazhou was raided by ravenous Japanese invaders. His father, a manager at a local business, fought to try to save his family but was killed instantly by the overpowering Japanese. The Japanese, seeing that his family was still alive, decided to kill everyone. However, they missed Har as he was hiding in a cupboard, nowhere to be seen. When he came out of his hiding, he saw that everyone has been slaughtered.

As a result of this, Har lived for 3 days on foods he could find around the house. His uncle, who had heard about the incident, came over to see the survivors and found only Har, and decided to take him. From then, they sailed to Arabia, where they settled in Medina, being the only Chinese. They were welcome by most, but shunned by others.

When Har was 19 and entering the last year of formal schooling, Commandeer Pirate of Arabia showed up one day at the doorstep, looking for potential pirates to help him sail the seven seas. After much deliberation with his uncle, Har decided to go—taking his uncle with him. They have served on the same ship ever since.

Equipment / Clothing: Har's favorite color is blue, as it represents the horizon, a symbol of freedom for him. He wears a blue head scarf and carries a sword in his right front pocket, easily accessible. Upon meeting Har, you wouldn't notice that he is a pirate. He wears a simple leather jacket and faded blue jeans, both left over from his days as a civilized man. In his leather jacket pockets you won't find much. A compass resides in the left breast pocket and a pocket knife in his jacket pocket. However, if you do decide to confront him, he holds in his jean pocket a vile of poison, something he created in his bar on his free time. On other occasions, he will use beer bottles to fight.

Other Information: Har the Navigator is a believer in peace and unless confronted or faced with a pirate battle, he will not attack. He is a frim negotiator and believes that words speak louder than actions.

Anyway, a change of scores is unnecessary.

I think I stated that Har was a nickname given by PoA.

Anyway, I don't think it matters all that much. There's not even a translation to that chinese name, anyway....

So his name in English is meaningless?

Oh, yes. I gave the Har nickname. Short for Hareem.

Well it's Chinese. Li + Qian + Xia don't really mean much.

Actually, didn't I give him the nickname? Cause he kept saying "Harr!"

So i said jokingly that ," Your name should be..Har the Bartender!"

I think i gave him the nickname, though it might have evolved.
