Much in the same vein of the Poem Contest, this will be a contest of your graphics creating skills!!! (Or lack thereof).

This contest will comprise three stages:

Stage 1 - You indicate if you would be willing to take part. Once we have around 5 - 10 competitors, then we will begin.

Stage 2 - You have three weeks to create a piece of art (or 2 or 3 ... more details at the end) and submit them to me.

Stage 3 - Everyone votes on which three pieces of art are the best. Voting will last around a week.

So, by this time next month, you could be in posession of one of three lovely prizes (or even all three if all your graphics win!!).

So what are you waiting for? ... Oh, those details I mentioned!

- You may submit one, two or three pieces of art.

- The graphics can be either hand drawn or computer drawn. In fact, any format is allowed (paintings, drawings, comics, banners, wallpapers, avatars, a drawing in the sand etc etc). There are no restrictions on size, but the graphics must be in either .JPG, .GIF or .PNG format. NO .BMP or .TIFF. And NO animations (unless they are avatars, in which case no larger than 100x100).

- Graphics must be PMed to me, either as attachments or as links. DO NOT post submissions in this topic.

- All graphics must revolve around some sort of theme involving at least one of the following things :

'Pencil', 'Tambourine', 'Frisbee', 'Orange', 'Gas', 'Zero', 'Glasses', 'Wrestling', 'Vermin', 'Swamps'.

All your submissions must contain one of the three themes, but be creative! Don't just draw a picture of a pencil - try something different, like drawing a picture of a broken pencil on a black background and calling it 'death'. XD

- Finally, include a short description (even just a line or two) to explain what the picture is about and how it ties in with one of the three themes.

Sounds a bit tough? It sure is, but if you are a real artist I'm sure you can create something excellent from these seemingly random themes ssmile.gif good luck!!

Remember this is only the first stage, so please simply respond indicating if you will take part or not. If we don't get 5 willing participants, then there is no point running with the contest ssmile.gif
