I don't actually "work out" but I do some activities for fun sbiggrin.gif

IE: I bike about 3 miles to swimming class at 12:35, swim atleast 30 mins, bike back home another 3 miles, sit on my couch and watch TV (which I normally don't do) OR sit in front of my comp and go to the forums stongue.gif

My parents tell me to work out and drink a lot of milk cuz I'm short LOL

I drink Soy Milk instead stongue.gif it's better sbiggrin.gif

How 'bout you guys?

My legs are muscular enough for me... My arms and abs kinda are on the weak side <_<

I'm more on strength than speed ^_^

Thats cuz ur making less muscle....the sore feeling is because your muscles get little holes in them, and when the muscle comes back it gets back bigger (Adapting to the work on it). This is what Ive heard, Im pretty sure it's right.

well.. the discomfort you get is the result of the chemical reaction needed to make energy. The acid is actually quite potent.. somewhere around a 3 I wanna say on the pH, I can't be sure as it stands. After that... I'm unsure, the acid may create the holes in your muscle, but, I haven't done enough research on it. But, too if you work too much, you can end up stretching and tearing your muscle. That's not too comfortable.

In any event, I've changed work-out schedule. I don't bother with lifting weights. Well, right now, I can't do much of anything, because I'm stuck inside half the day. But, I do run when I can, followed by a series of interchanging kicks and punches. Also, stretching is a very important aspect to my working out, to keep my muscles flexible.

Also, stretching out your muscles kinda "rings them out" and the oxygen let inside the muscle gets rid of that acid, so you'll be less sore, and surprisingly, the muscle will increase more. And yeah, the Acid probably causes the wholes in your muscle, since it's incredibly toxic, or whatever the word Im lookin for is...

I walk almost everywhere, and I lift weights about 2-6 times a day. I also practise fighting ie kicking air etc and jumping off of things to improve my ability and durability. I also take REALLY hot baths, or walk my dog in the rain wearing shorts and tshirt, to expand my mind and how much pain i can take. In other words I train to fight.

Mmm... Anaerobic cellular respiration isn't particularily healthy for your cells... They weren't adapted to stand such circumstances... Basically, I mean that the buildup of lactic acid is very inefficient, producing ONLY 2 ATP molucules from a single glucose molecule while aerobic respiration can produce 38 ATP molecules @_@;; Waste of energy... <_<

lactic acid... pain... Oh, the buildup of lactic acid has been found to shorten your lives and increase chances of cancer ssmile.gif Enjoy guys lol

Heh... nice encouragements by me eh? stongue.gif

BTW for you dumbos, aerobic respiration is the oxidation (burning) of food molecules, producing 38 ATP molecules per glucose. (around 80 per fat molecule) This "converts" oxygen to carbon dioxide.

Now, anaerobic respiration is when you "burn" food molecules, but turn it into lactic acid. (Lactose is a type of sugar) This produces ONLY 2 ATP molecules... Not quite efficient...

Oh and, anaerobic respiration is what the organisms used like 3-2 billion years ago. Then, aerobic respiration developed... much more efficient, don't ya think? lol

But we live lives revered by those around us, happier lives. lol, plus, girls like muscle.

Also, our bodies are adapting themselves as we workout, and eventually, through generations of it, humans should, on average, be stronger, wider build, and taller. It's physical evolution.

And whats with the Anaerobic and Aerobic, I dont know the differene lol. By aerobic do you mean exercise, running, walking, etc....and Anaerobic you mean weightlifting?

aerobic respiration is respiration that uses oxygen...
anaerobic doesn't.. it produces acid.

Lol, 50kgs=about 110 lbs. Haha, let's see....I do 155 lbs=70.45kgs and Im only a little sore.

Okay, if you don't wanna be so sore just stretch out your arms and pecs alot before, during, and after your workout.
