I'm lovin' the felt.. but what's that pointy thing on it?

Kidding.. how did you happen upon the machete? Family heirloom? Trek in the jungle last summer? Flea market?

And you have done very well with it. What kind of training (if any) have you had?

my dad taught me basics, the rest i figured on my own. he didnt teach me how to put a handle on, nor how to make the sheath. i also do chip carving, and as soon as i finish it, ill show you the castle ive been making from a hollow piece of wooden column. but i pride myself on my blades. i also have a knife that i made completely from scratch, another machete, and an assload of chip carvings.

Wow. So it seems even people who don't capitalize sentences have their talents. You can make a lot of money from eccentric people with stuff like that, if you ever wanted to start a business. It looks very professional, and very smooth and intricate.

<_< ha ha. i do capitalize on paper...
anyway... yeah, it took me 30-40 hours of work on sanguinous. and even at minimum wage thats 154.50 to 206.00. and ill be honest, i would have to have people with a lot of spare money buying my stuff if that was a business. frankly id rather keep it to a hobby.
oh and thanks ^_^ the coiled snake is my favorite detail

You would get better and more efficient, no doubt...if you are of average competence o_o

Yeah, I totally understand that. I didn't want to be too pushy... not that a stranger on the internet can be pushy at all... but anyway I've had the same experience with my music. Some people have wanted me to be more professional, but I insist on keeping it a hobby.

That looks mean Shadowflare. I did a touch up on the hilt of an old Cutlass my great uncle gave me once. Of course, it is metal so it took ages to do.

The runes look accurately done as well. Kudos.

Great job, that looks really nice. Perhaps it can become a family heiriloom.

to al: that'd be cool
to roger: i wasnt saying you were pushy, my dad and i get it all the time.
to jingy: you think you know my level of intellect just by my grammar on the internet, but it takes more than that.
