I'd like to apply for administrator of Origin. I've been a member for over 5 years, on and off, and currently over a year consecutively and actively. Now that summer has come I have a multitude of time to contribute, and I've averaged over fifty posts a day when it is active. I have my general knowledge and intelligence to contribute, and hope to lead Origin to a bright future. I've spoken to Jinghao shortly on the subject, and now present myself formally.

And the admins aside from Jinghao are generally given more freedom to act and improve the site, controlling and developing forums as they see fit, and are basically just closer bosom buddies of Jinghao.

How do you figure? That might be more reasonable if we have more than ten active members. Four administrators in a situation where there is no need for administrative initiative is a bit pointless. If we had intended on giving such a large portion of members admin privileges, we can just adjust the Honorable Member status.

No offense, but there are other people who would better utilize the position. We have ample staff in our current position, the admins (Jinghao et al., even though Odd is never on anymore and I haven't seen Al's record) do not really need any more help.
What sort of ideas do you plan on enforcing with Admin status that you can't get done as a global? There's no need to adjust the sql scripts, or anything of the sort. I believe that at almost any given time, you can get ahold of Al or Jinghao.
Basically, what do you have to show for yourself?

We should start an advertising campaign to get more members in. If we can get enough people to where the number of staff doesn't overwhelm the general population....Roger has my full support for admin :D

You can promote him to admin between Aug. 17th and the 29th. I'm not going to be around then.
Also, I'm studying abroad for 4 and a half months. You never know what happens then.
