My fiancée is an avid OC fan. I liked Season 1, hardly seen Season 2 or Season 3 (poor Marissa FROWN.GIF ), but I love Season 4. It feels like a totally different series in Season 4, more light-hearted ssmile.gif

Any fans?

Not really. Watched a few episodes. It's... for high schoolers.

Can't take it seriously. But then again, I've never actually bothered to watch. I've just watched Joel McHale make fun of the OC on the Soup xD

You cannot take this show seriously -- though the opening song is quite catchy. "Calliforniiiaaaaaa..."

Yeah, I hate that it gets made fun of so much. There are a lot of clichés in it, but it is a very sweet, action-packed, twisted show. I think it relates more to kids with depression issues really, but there is a lot of humour and hope in it. It's easy to ridicule it, but I think if you sit down and watch it from the first episode without prejudice you might find it's quite good.

I know I "hated" it before I met Charlene, but now I can say I am a fan (after watching the whole series about 3 times over now o.gif ). I might just be brainwashed mind you stongue.gif swink.gif

Hehe, well you do make it look interesting. Should I ever need my drama fix, I might look the OC up :]

It is good for drama, but I think One Tree Hill is a little more "mature", if you hate the High School element of it. But The OC benefits from people not just sleeping around with each other, and some good, slow-building, realistic relationships. OTH is a bit unrealistic, but a bit more realistic at the same time. They both have their good and bad qualities, despite being very similar sounding, they are both quite different really.

I've watched all of Seasons 1 & 2. Afraid to go beyond that...

Icey you should try it out. Especially if you are looking for an addiction. I think when I first watched, it was like 3 weeks straight all of seasons 1 & 2. ssmile.gif
