That'd be me you're looking for then. I've seen every episode to date, and occasionally look at Lost forums.

Before I get too carried away though, I've heard that over there, you guys get the episodes a week or two later than the U.S. Is that true? I wouldn't want to spoil anything.

Just a few days. You get it on Wednesday nights? We get it on Sunday nights. The last episode I saw was "This Place Is Death".

I have seen every episode several times and devour lost analysis blogs. I am desperate to figure the whole thing out, but this season has flat-out overwhelmed me with information o.gif it is getting scary to keep track of it all now sbiggrin.gif

Alright, for the time being, we're caught up with each other then.

If you go on ABC.com the day after they air here (Thursday), they post videos on their site. Usually the wait for the next episode kills me, so hopefully that helps some.

Where to begin? I almost feel like I could start a whole forum on this.

I read an interesting thread on some other forum, a lot of people seem to think that Christian was born on the island, and is more or less going through the same thing Locke is going through. You may have noticed throughout the series that Christian was involved in the histories of many of the survivors, so that he may have been responsible for getting everyone together on the plane to begin with. Since he had died before arriving on the island, and now he's on the island, seemingly alive (his body was missing, and while he may not be in a normal "state", some theories have brought up the idea that if you die off the island, and your corpse is brought back, you'll be brought back to life). Locke may have to go through the same thing. I seem to recall that someone claimed that on the side of a van or something, there was an anagram for something along the lines of "reincarnation" as well, and Lost has a history of using anagrams, (Hoffs Drawlar, Mittelos, etc.). I think I might actually re-watch whatever episode that was from to see, unless you happen to know what I'm talking about.

I guess that's one place to start with this discussion. Also, who is Jacob?

ABC.com is only available to Americans. It has a sophisticated way of detecing what country you are in. I have tried various proxies, but I cannot circumvent it. Besides, waiting a few days is fine by me as it gives me more people to talk to, in Real Life. Generally, the blogs have updated by Thursday, so I get to read people's opinions, ignore the internet for 3 days, then see the next episode and have 4 days of chatting online to do ssmile.gif

Have you seen the Missing Pieces that reveals that, just before the very start of the series where Jack wakes up in the jungle, there is a scene of Christian telling Vincent to "wake up his son" as he (Jack) has "work to do"?

I think Christian, in general, is classified as a "bad" person. He seems hell-bent on getting Locke off the island. Remember that Jacob asked Locke to "help" him, and since then Jacob has never been seen, with Christian taking his place claiming he "speaks on Jacob's behalf"? This, to me, is a total lie. I think Christian has, somehow for whatever motive, locked Jacob away somewhere and is trying to take his place. Locke seems a very important "end game" character, and Jacob seems hell-bent on getting him off the island.

I have a lot more to talk about, but no real time tonight. I'll ask this though - do you think Ben is "good" or "bad"?

Well into the last season now, anyone still watch?

Can't say I like the direction the show ended up taking, but I've been watching it too long to give up on the last few episodes.

I tried watching the first five minutes of a random new episode the other day, and my brain couldn't handle it.

My impression from the begining is that Jacob is evil (not by my standards, but in the conventional sense). He seems to be trying very hard to keep everyone prisoner on the island. I thought from season 1 that everyone died since nobody can survive that kind of plane crash, but then they returned to the real world. Of course, the writers can take either path they want
