How well do you know the forum members? Try to guess who posted the following! I'll get the posts from Jinghao's script on http://originxt.com/node/18347 and keep a tally of points (the first person to correctly identify the quote gets 10 points minus the number of guesses prior.). You can't guess consecutively for the same quote. No cheating, otherwise it's not fun! stongue.gif After someone guesses correctly, I'll post another. ssmile.gif

Current quote that we are guessing:
QUOTE (only part of the post b/c it was long)
I believe that 'falling in love' is merely a prolonged phase. If you look at it from that way, you understand that love is merely a springboard to what happens later within your relationship. Once you fall out of the feelings, you have to look at the relationship from a mere 'how can we work through' things point of view. That's essentially what life becomes, a work in progress, and a constant transition between you and what you are doing.

Score
Singularity: 258
Heartless Krab: 160
Jinghao: 333
Uno: 20
Keese: 30

EDIT: If you know it's correct, feel free to post another one. ssmile.gif
EDIT: The points system was changed. (See above, so I'll multiply the current points by 10, yay!) Let me know if there are any problems.
EDIT: Rule change: You can't guess consecutively, but, otherwise, it's okay. turned.gif

QUOTE (1st)
It's been 7 months since someone got a top score in the arcade. Have we reached the ceiling where we can't score higher?

Papa Smurf, ah. I guess I shouldn't assume it's somebody active.
(^Not my guess, by the way)

Alright, I vaguely remember this one. I know Id was speaking in response to me asking if he was alright. This wasn't me, I rarely use O_O type smilies. It probably wasn't Icey, based on other factors that I might just be assuming. Al probably wouldn't say that. Jinghao might have, but he's usually less likely to respond to strange posts like this. I guess that leaves me with about 4 guesses.

Was it Jay?

Start a grass roots movement. Why don't you ask some people? Ask them if they think living near Russia gives you foreign policy experience. Ask them if they think Bush policies for four more years is good. Ask them if banning books, keeping polar bears un-endangered, and firing state troopers over family issues is good. Ask them if family values are portrayed through daughters who contradict that thought. Ask them if we should be in Iraq. I look forward to their answers.

if living in countries gives you experience, why doesn't living near countries? we haven't hit a depression yet. 4 more years won't kill us what's wrong with banning books? there are quite a few i wouldn't want my children to read O.o we can solve the polar bear problem by opening up polar bears to hunting. if it's perfectly fine to deny firefighters a job because they're white, what's wrong with banning state troopers with family problems? sounds like they'd be more harmful than a silly white man. what daughters? why aren't they aborted yet? we should totally be in iraq. i hear they actually have gas up there. and their lack of humidity does wonders for my fungal problems.

Probably would have been my guess, and yes, they're the same person.

I'll guess Keese, if you happen to be wrong.

Ah, no. I hope you were joking.

I would have guessed Jay, but Jinghao beat me to it. That eliminates everyone I can conceive that being, so I have to guess Al.

Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gross_Clinic The Gross Clinic is an 1875 painting by Thomas Eakins. It is oil on canvas and measures 8' by 6'6". Dr. Samuel D. Gross, a seventy-year-old professor dressed in a black frock coat, lectures a group of Jefferson Medical College students. Included among the group is a self-portrait of Eakins, who is seated to the right of the tunnel railing, sketching or writing. Seen over Dr. Gross' right shoulder is the clinic clerk, Dr. Franklin West, taking notes on the operation. Eakins's signature is painted into the painting, on the front of the surgical table. Interesting...

I'd say al because of "Interesting..."

After reading half the quotes you came up with, i thought jingy's script combined a random quote and the [you] tag so that you'd always see your own quotes =P

Edit: Jinghao, only 1 guess per post! stongue.gif I'll just assume you meant me. ^_^
