Augh...so apparently I fail at balancing forums. I've taken on five simultaneous role play threads at the Hallow Life, not to mention another modding job at a friend's forum...and the rest of the forums I'm modding/administrating and helping out on and other stuff that's got me way occupied. And my multitasking skills are minimal at best. So my posts here may suffer. I'm not going inactive just......barely here. Gahhh *falls over*

Is that in reference to the XKCD comic? stongue.gif

I almost never pay attention when someone says "no pun intended". If they're not intended, then there's no need to catch, I guess I've always sort of subconsciously filtered that out.

I know, and I appriciate it. I just don't know why when I give someone I care about sound advice, it gets cast aside. That's what the sigh was for.

it happens, don't let it get to you. People will live their own lives. Can't make decisions for other people.

Yeah. All I can do is be there for them, assuming my advice was actually sound, when their shitty choices bite them in the ass. And that's what I'm not doing.

Shitty choices are the reason life is worth living. Without them, where's the fun. I couldn't tell you how many times I have made choices that horibly impacted the rest of my life, entirely based on the idea of not thinking about them, on purpose. Mistakes are a person's individuality. That, and it's the f*cking internet. Just thought I would add that in there. Keepin' it real!

Really now? So you're arguing against rationality?

there was a man, he loved a girl.
her word was order, he followed it deeply.
oh how loyal he was, thinking of her sleeplessly.
she held his demons back, and thats all he wanted.
but she was but a child, and on him she tread.
then came the infidelity, his demons wanted her dead.
soon love was traded, for rage and distain.
and whats sickest of all, she knew not of his pain.

Crazy people are the best topics for writing poems about, for sure.
