Basically, its kind of simple:

I'm working on the website for the PR firm I just started at today. They want to put their press releases in a nice, easy to see format, complete with RSS feeds. Fair enough.

Question is, I want to make this easier, without having to make them update things through Dreamweaver and what not, and then send it into publishing, but I also want to create a cost-effective solution. Basically, does something out there exist that works like Wordpress, has the functionality of wordpress, but can be dropped in like a widget?

Ask if this makes no sense. I can clarify.

Yeah, but this is for a professional website. Design is for the designer... im merely adding stuff in here and there.

I don't understand why Wordpress doesn't satisfy your requirements? What do you mean "dropped in like a widget?"

Under any other condition, I would be totally for it.

This is the site: http://www.mcapr.com/backup/what_they_say.html

It was recently redesigned... so I'm just trying to do the most that I can with the least (If you were the designer, and some random intern comes along and tries to one up you, how awkward would that be?).

You still haven't explained what you meant. What languages does the webserver support? PHP? ASP.NET?

I... have no idea. I haven't asked because they just did a website re-design, and that probably already cost them lots.

Plus, I'm told the boss likes this design too. :-/
