Does anyone here use one? They look to be way too small for my hands, and I do more than surf the internet, but they seem nice for note taking in class.

I use a Lenovo Ideapad S10e running XP. I'm really happy with it. I use it basically every day, and the plug/charger is tiny, so I carry that along, too. It's compact, cute, and I haven't had any problems yet. (I got it at the beginning of spring semester this year.) The webcam is useful, too. I use DropBox to sync my files with my larger laptop that I now leave at home.

stongue.gif I helped Tricia get the Ideapad. It's cool, feels extremely durable, and has an AWESOME feature where it automatically logs you in by face (aka the webcam looks at your face and logs you in if you're the admin). If you want a cheap netbook, look on Woot.com today. It's cheaper than the Ideapad, but heavier and less durable. So it's up to you.
