I have an iPod Nano 8 GB silver. More than what I need, but good enough -- plays video too!

Some shitty 1GB Phillips Mp3 player with a broken play button that I've had for 3 years. I keep it in my car, and for the most part, it fits all the music I care to listen to.

iPod Nano, silver, 2 gb. Need to expand because with all the new music I've been downloading, lately having to constantly shuffle new music around in addition to keeping my "permanent" music on is a.....pain in the ass. Whoo.

I have several. They're almost all Sandisk Sansas. I have a Sansa Clip that Tricia has right now (I'll probably give it to my sister). I feel like since Sandisk develops flash memory, they should produce the devices for the cheapest cost (they do) and sell it at prices that don't rip you off like Apple does.

I also have a Creative MuVo from 4 years ago. I love that thing—my first MP3 player. I used it to record lectures. It was very useful, stored 5 gigs, and for a music device, was pretty cute.

By the way, this is a technology topic. Let me move this.

Apple costs a lot because the overall quality is seemingly better.

If you can find an Apple at a lower price, do so. I got my 8 GB for $90 or so, about 20-30 bucks lower than what you find at normal retail.

I'm using Jinghao's old Sansa! Woot, it's awsome. I love the battery life (way better than the iPod nano that went to my mom) and the presence of... games... >_> and radio, since I'm usually too lazy to collect my own songs. stongue.gif

I have an old Creative Zen from 2006. It doesn't really hold everything I'd like it to, but it glows blue and can take a beating. It sees a lot of time on the job site

Whatever I can get in lab. Or... well, I forgot the numbers for the ones I listened to, so now I'm kind of deprived of radio. FROWN.GIF

FM.

I think it was 102.1 for classical, 103 or 101 for other stuff, and something around 98?

I've also listened to podcasts of This American Life from NPR's website. It's pretty cool. And, occassionally, news on the radio, but I don't remember the station numbers.

Oh cool. My dad frequently listens to 102.1

I'm more of an AM person though -- 680, 740 and 810 (sports, news, news).

I can get 5 Sansas (8gb) for the price of one Nano. I'm not even gonna consider the shuffle.
