I really like this sequence. Also, I love when the simple facts about communism make it aweful right in front of the eyes of its follower.

For the record, "small businesses" employ the vast majority of people in this free market economy. Small stores are far more economical than large stores because it forces large-scale competition that drives prices down. Capitalism is simply the best economic system to date.

It was the first thing Uno said in the thread. Also, it's a means of stating something, and then pointing it out again in the same sentence, a form of redundancy made popular on places like 4chan.

For the record, you have a flawed understanding of communism if you think that the lack of competition would drive prices up. No drive for profit.......makes prices as low as possible. Even with maximum competition, the profit margin will still raise prices higher than in a communist ecconomy. Everything is manufactured, and shipped in the most cost effective way, because it costs the government less to do so.

Then again, I am not really arguing capitalism vs communism, I am arguing whatever you call the american economy, and communism.

As far the vast majority of people........I doubt you are right about that. Maybe more than 50%, but I doubt that small companies hire the 80% or so that would be required to call it a vast majority.

Capitalism is not the best economic system to date. It is one of the worst. It is a system intentionally created so that the poor can be exploited. It may generate the most capital, and GNP, but the gap between the classes is tremendous, which is not right. No one needs to be incredibly wealthy. It doesn't benefit the majority of the population to do that.

Also, all the crap about lack of motivation, and all that, is lame arguments I am sick of hearing.

Difference between capitalism and communism, in a nutshell, is trade many rich people for a government that controls capital. People still elect who runs that government, and the government still acts in the interest of the people.

People still make more money for doing jobs that are more benefitial to society. Getting an education is still important.

You just cut out greed from the mix.
