So the health care bill passed the House. I kind of wish the Dems didn't have to appease the "centrists" in the Senate.

I think mandatory insurance is stupid. What do you all think about the bill?

You could walk into an abortion clinic and get your baby sucked out with a rusty hose and it would be better, cleaner, and more efficient care than government-run VA hospitals, which, by the way, overrun their cost estimates every period since inception (same with Medicare and Medicaid).

If it's rusty, it's probably a pipe, not a hose. I never saw an iron hose before, lol. Maybe I'm wrong, just thought it was funny.

Yes, yes...zis is good indeed. Comrade Obama has brought many socialist reforms to a much...over capitalized society. By ze end of ze week, ze so-called "Statue of Liberty" will be replaced by a glorious statue of Vladimir Lenin. Also, we're zinking about changing ze capital name from "Washington DC" to "Obamagrad". We change flag from many star to one hammer and sickle. Now...let's go drink some vodka.

I like me some vodka. I like mr. Boston. It's really cheap, and it burns like lighter fluid.

Looks like Obama just signed an executive order banning taxpayer-funded abortions. Any thoughts on this?

A total fraud. There are perhaps over 100 Democratic House members who would never, ever have supported the bill with the "Stupak compromise" with this executive order had they thought it would actually restrict abortion funding. The directive prevents direct federal funding of abortion, but in no way restricts entities that receive non-discretionary federal funding from funding abortions with that money. In fact, this has been the case for years, even since the first directives under Reagan banned federal funding of abortion. The pro-choice wing has made it very clear that the health care legislation, even with an executive order (which legislation overrides anyway), is not going to restrict taxpayer funding of abortion.
