Sounds good. This is a desktop? Might I inquire what made you go with that instead of a laptop?

I intend to keep it on 24/7 (constantly downloading from hulu, remote access, botting on games, etc). From experience, laptops don't work well when they're on 24/7. Also the video card option. I want 2-4x wide screen monitors (26''+), and I'm not sure how well laptop video cards work with it. I might get a laptop as well, but this laptop is ok for now.

I don't know how cheap electricity is for you, but a desktop consumes hundreds of watts of power. At 10 cents a kwh and 300 watts, you're spending 3 cents an hour. That's 267 dollars a year if you leave it on all day.

i still use it roughly 10h/day, non consecutively. It's only idle for around 5-6 hours at a time. Is it better to shut it down 3 times a day?
