Origin 33: The True Story

It was the year 10,873,039. It had been quite a battle when the force known as the “Origin Trio” stood up to the Imperial’s and liberated the Western Continent sending the Imperial’s Northbound. The leader of the Origin Trio; Grand, was now in charge of the great city Orinal. He was a dedicated man to the new country and had made it a republic instead of a dictatorship. Many people were with him, but twice as many were against him. Some people like in the “Warriors of Darkness” were the key to the rebellion of the new leader.

In the Origin trio was Lady Icey who was one of the two Commanders. She and a man named Jacen were the Commanders to the Origin Trio. Icey was a powerful woman who was an inspiration to the new order. She was creative, kind, and always had pity on the peasants of the land. Jacen however was a different story. Jacen was very anti-social, powerful, and had a mind that could turn people insane.

After the revolt, Grand established a government quickly and made it effective. People were given better salaries, pollution was lowered, taxes however were raised. People did not like giving away 25% of their total income each year so the rebellion forces started. Terrorists were now infested into Orinal and rebellious groups as well.

People like the “Forest Guardians” who insisted that all industry had been removed with a force of 2,000 soldiers and the “Ogres of The West” who had an impressive 4,000 man army with a just as impressive arsenal. These people however never really stood up to the force and might of the Origin Trio and were either demolished from the city or were mysteriously “removed” from the city…

Now rumors of the greatest war since the rebellion of the Imperial Empire have begun. Orinal is now a place of murder, drugs, weapons, and armies. Every section of the city has a leading army and the only safe place is in the center of Orinal…

Nicee... I edited your post to fix some grammar and spelling... made it easier on the eye too.

Little did Grand know, Jacen was secretly planning rebellion with the trio's arch rivals - The Knights of the Phoenix Order. Meanwhile, Grand was planning the salary system for the loyalties.

Months have passed without any signs of the salary. Due to the impatience Jacen was experiencing, he finally decided to execute his plan. While Grand was silently asleep, Jacen took all his belongings and joined up with the Knights of the Phoenix Order.

The next day when the leader, Grand realised what had happened, he immediately took all his soldiers and marched into the Phoenix Lands - where the rivals were. Upon arrival, he saw that Haven, their leader, was gone, so Grand and his army destroyed the whole village. Along with the destruction, Grand took back many of those who were forced to join the enemy clan.

The following day, when Haven came back, he realised what had happened. He immediately recognized the Mastermind of this plot. He did not plan revenge, but instead, he quickly rebuilt his village. While doing so, he realised that many of those who he had conquered were taken back by the Origin Trio, or so it was called.

He was furious when he had found that out. His first plan was to savage the Origin lands, re-capturing those who had been taken back by Grand. But upon arrival, he discovered that the whole city of Orinal was protected by a monstrous wall 25 metres high, and 15 metres thick, all around the great city. He then noticed a few people sleeping at the entrance.

When he, and his small army reached the entrance, they saw that the sleeping ones were those of the "Neo Pandora" subdivision. They had been kicked out by the Trio for high treason. These outcasts included Jacen, the original leader, Ma Chao, his second in command, and a few of their friends who had helped in this plot.

Haven was quick to take them back to his lands, hoping to use them to help start a revolt in the Origin lands, and hopefully destroying the whole union...

How is it? It's based on the real thing ssmile.gif

Continuation:

Upon realising Haven's actions, Grand immediately set forth to setup the third subdivision, which was originally "Neo Pandora". First, he called upon his old friends to see who would like to start another subdivision of the Trio, which was now the Duo. After days of searching, he finally found the one that would be the new subdivision; the Rogeylah Mages, the soon-to-become Mages Division of the trio.

After reinstalling the 3 divisions, Grand decided to ask all the miniscule clans to remain neutral, in exchange for some money and items. The 4 clans decided to remain neutral. One major reason of the success of this plan was that Grand went to the same school as most of the neutral clans.

That plan may have worked for these 4 clans, but it did not work for one stubborn enemy of the Trio, the "Vanguard of Glory". Its leader was, in fact, the best friend of Grand back in school, but after a horrible argument, they soon became the worst of enemies. The leader of that clan, Radosian, was determined to strike down the Trio.

Meanwhile, Legendary Bladesman, the original leader of the "Vanguard of Glory", returned realising that Haven had backstabbed him by joining up with Jacen. Legendary Bladesman and Grand soon formed a plan to destroy the traitors first, and then resume to their positions as enemies. Both sides agreed. The plan seemed perfect...

Grand felt confident of his victory over the rivals, so he decided to deliver the first salaries sent out by the Trio. Everyone rejoiced from this, and were even more eager to win. Victory seemed assured...

::i am playing this story as shinhwa::

Everyone was caught up in their petty little disputes. Clans clashing anywhere and everywhere. They called it a republic, but all the leaders took no care of their public. They mere peons in a giant game, forced to evacuate whenever one was angry, forced to live in slums to "protect themselves", forced to sacrifice themselves for the vengeance of the leaders.

This is how I grew up.

I never had one home, never the same friends, except one. Sarang. We were never separated, the Fates had woven this much happiness into our lives. Time after time, there were clashes in the place where we were forced to live. And someone would claim themselves our leader and force us in different directions. My mother, father, and Sarangs parents and brother had all separated, lost to us forever.
Hwa {my sister}, Sarang, and I managed to keep together.
After we put Hwa to sleep, we spent many nights planning our next escape when there was another battle. We spent evenings looking for the way out. We worked many days working to buy us a meal for a day. Perhaps a loaf of bread. Sometimes not even that.
But we managed. That was how everyone was nowdays. No one was able to keep their well-earned money. Even those that were once rich slept under open sky because they had been forced out of their home and forced to leave their wealth behind.

************

I lay under an open sky, in a meadow, Hwa to my left, and Sarang across. I used my hands as a cushion for my head, and stared up into the heavens. Often I had accused god of cruelty, He never seemed to be acting fairly. The Sisters were always making the unfair stitches. But today, I felt another feeling from deep inside me. I was beginning to see that even through this, He hadnt taken away everything. He left my best friend, and my sister with me. He gave us enough to keep us alive. I thanked him, and turned over to my side to face Hwa.

Sarang's eyes were slowly opening. I began to hear something crackle. Sarang jolted up, eyes wide open, and pointed. At the horizon, a inferno was reaching up high into the night sky.

You live in the "Forgotten Lands" Right?

Immediately after the delivery of the first salary, all the loyalties rejoiced. But the delivery was a little too late for many of the alliances have departed from the Origin lands, hoping to find a place out of the turmoil.

Because of these departures, Grand tried his best to prevent any more. First, he raised the salaries, then he started a campaign to rejuvinate the 2 millenia year old city of Orinal, hoping to attract more to the lands of Orinal.

In addition to all these plans to return the Orinal lands to its original glory, Grand also wanted to, in the bigger picture, re-unify the whole planet to create a more peaceful, more resourceful, republic. Specifically called the Origin Republic. These plans seemed easy at hand, but he was soon to be mistaken...

He then decided to send out numerous voyages to the distant parts of the world, hoping to create the most accurate map of the planet, Origin 33. The first to the distant lands north of the capitol. The second to the places east and west of the Orinal lands. The third to the south.

A few weeks later, the first voyagers returned, obtaining valuable information about the northern lands. They have discovered that the lands were filled with valuable coal deposites, virtually everywhere. Coal was priceless, especially during the times of turmoil in the world. Upon realising this, Grand immediately informed the Mages division to travel to the northern lands.

Just a few days after the first discovery, the second voyagers returned with precious information of our enemy lands. They relayed back the landforms and resources of their lands. They also reported information on their armies. These information are sure to come into hand during the clan wars.

In addition to the information of our enemies, precious information about the neutral alliance were reported as well. These information were to be used to keep the neutral clans neutral.

Weeks after the first two voyagers returned, the voyagers from the south still had not returned. Grand thought that it was probably because of some unfortunate disasters along the way to the southern lands, so he decided to sent out two more voyages.

Time and time after, the voyages from the south still had not return. Then, Grand got a mail from "Anonymous". It stated "Stop sending men (and women) to the south. We do not wish to slaughter any more of them. Grand gave up exploring the south.

Then one day, Grand's 2nd in command suggested that the homelands be explored. "It would be best if we knew our own homelands", said Grand's assistant. Grand agreed, and sent out two land expeditions over the homelands.

The information about the north were first to arrive. They have discovered that the north were covered by multitudes of rainforests, providing an abundant supply of lumber and coal. They also discovered that gold and diamond were in plentiful supply in the mountains. Grand decided this would be the land of the central division, the Grand Assassins.

The information of the south had finally arrived after a two week of wait. The south were covered by rainforests, in an even greater degree. But unfortunately, no gold were found in the mountains, although many other types of metal were found in it. Grand decided this would be the perfect place for the Fighter's division, Dark Chaos, to reside in.

After all these expeditions, Grand assigned the best mapmaker of the Orinal lands to compile a map of the whole planet, based on the gathered information. With this, the whole task of reuniting the planet would be one step easier...

No. My family originated from the Alliance of Neutrality. So did Sarangs. And few generations back, when the Alliance was having trouble, they moved to Orinal. Thats where I am right now~

They flames were rising up with great speed. Another clash. It must be. I took Hwa into my arms and we dashed across the meadow. Sarang turned around many times to warn us for any dangers. And we kept on running through the night.

************

We stood in front of the mountains, towering above the clouds. We had to get across. This was the last of it, Sarang and I had already decided. One more time and we were going to go back to the Forests of the Elves. And it happened again. And with a large breath of courage, we stepped onto the begginnings of the slope.

************

The sun was rising on the other side of the mountains when we first reached the snow. Or, when we first reached nothing but snow. And we were tired. We needed a place to rest. But there seemed to be nothing but the glare of the pure white, untouched snow. I gave Hwa to Sarang and lumbered through the snow trying to find a place.
And then i notcied that the snow was covering a small overhanging of rock. I called to Sarang. He came and we went inside.
He put Hwa down, I pulled out a couple of blankets out of little pack of stuff, gave one to him, leaned back, and shut my eyes.

Ok, That's nice o_o

With the finished map, Grand was finally able to start planning his war strategies with the Phoenix clan. He knew the "Vanguard of Glory" and "Alliance of Neutrality" groups bordered the enemies, so he attempted to pull them to his side.

The first one, with Vanguard of Glory, was quite unsuccessful. But the second one, ended up neutral (hense their name). Grand felt more confident of his victory. His advisors calculated a 75% chance of victory.

I'll finish it later.

Radosian's Legion Of Seas continued the patrols of their waters, on heightened alert due to the enemy poised to overwhelm his clan. Merely a steward of the clan, someone to run it as the leader was away, he could take no immediate military action.

I'll finish this later as well.

Now onto first person...

I was very pleased with the results of the map, but I was left wondering about the southern unknown. What had happened there? Why hadn't anyone returned? Can that be the land of no return?

I decided to forget that matter, and was advised to plan the war strategies against the Phoenix clan. With Radosian on our side, victory was assured.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While busily planning the battle, I heard a loud boom across the western side of the continent. Then, thinking it was just an accident, I resumed my work. Then about an hour later, I noticed the sky started darkening. Then, I smelt the stench of sulfur. A dormant super-volcano had just errupted south-west of the continent...
*I shall play Kugjen*
South of Orinal, the lands were fierce. No one was to come in unless they never left. But, those of origin from that place were aloud to stay, and stay they did. Most people feared leaving the south, but I, surely was not. I hated every part of it. No minerals, not many resources either. It was time to put my foot down.
As I entered the Commador's chambers I was stopped by a man in a black coat.
"Let go of me, I am in a hurry"
And so he did just that and I kept going.
"My lord, we must wonder" I said harshly. "WHAT!?!?!?!?!? Why should we do such a thing?" He asked. "Our military keep leaving and get killed for it. Our viliges keep burning down becuase of the volcano erruptions and villagers abondon the villiges without a home of any kind. We must search for resources My Lord!!!" I said as I gapsed for air angry. "Hmmm, fine. You, you will be the first and last person to leave and come back. Search fora depot that we can take and use." He responed turning his chair looking out the window "Oh, and another thing, you actualy, you actualy wont be coming back. My law states no man or woman will leave or enter, and THATS FINAL, but yu may leave." "Fine, I will, I will join up with GRAND. His army will be in need of some intellegence, he seems to be making a few mistakes and needs info from the south, and I will give him just that!" I stormed out as fast as possible.
6 weeks later, I arrived at the Central Orinal gates, to enter the castle. As I entered A man walked down a hall with 7 men following. "Could that be the man I have been hearing so much about?" I asked myself and stopped him and the 7 men. "Wait!!!" I cried out "Are you Grand?" I asked "Yes, now if you don't mind, I need to go." He responed and turned away.
I followed him up a great stairwell and found him walking into his quarters. I then walked in to talk to him. "GRAND, you seek information on the south, correct? Well, what if I said, I am a man born and raised in the south parts. My Comador has betrayed his people and has sluaghtered your men by law." I stated as I sat down. "I that so, please, go on." He responed "The Commador is a very hatred man, feared by all in his kingdom. His law is this, "No man nor woman shall leave or enter my kingdom with out penalty of death". I left in search for help but I don't think he shall let me come back, so may I join with you?" I said waiting for an answer so bold and eager to await the one word of "yes"...
Nice one!
"Yes, this seems to be an intriguing offer... I shall take my time to consider it." Grand replied hastily. He then walked on with his men.
Meanwhile, Soul Stealer, the nickname or codename for Kugjen, walked on to his assigned room, with a big grin on his face. He finally arrived at the large luxurious room assigned by one of Grand's advisors. He was stunned by the size of it.
While he sat down and relaxed, he heard Grand marching up the stairs mumbling to himself about the south. He was intended to get all the help he can receive...
Grand opened the door. "Please, after the feast tonight, will you be willing to give me the information you promised about the south?" He asked. I smiled in a kinda of proud smile, "Yes, My Lord, we shall." As I sat at the desk started to wright.
Grand came over to see what I was doing. I was drawing, drawing a map of the south.
Grand's face was pale, I could tell he could not have believed it. He was actually going to fulfill his plans. "What are you drawing might I ask?" Grand asked. "The map you seek. I have traveled all of the south and know it like the back of my hand. Its mostly forest and mountains and a few valcanos. And around the valcanos its just bones and old desert lands that have burned. Astonishing how sand burns, but its not realy sand. It is fake sand covering our ploys for people trying to enter our lands, well not mine anymore. But, I ask a favor...Please, rescue my mother and sister from there. I didn't have time to get them out. Please Grand, I shall do anything, just help me get them out, and Ill give you everything thing you ask."
Grand stared at me as if I was crazy and dellusional...And then he opened his mouth.....
"That is a difficult request... I do not know if we should risk our whole navy... But one thing is assured, if you help us defeat the Rebels, we will do all we can to rescue your mother and sister. What happened to your father?" Grand said hastily...
I looked down with a face of guilt. "It was 12 years ago, I was just 13 and my father had brought me to the front lines 'cuase I had a natural gift for fitghing. I was already a Lutiniuit and one of the best there was. My father ordered the charge. He was king at the time, so I was a very wise and powerfull person, and also above the law. Back then, it was peace, but then the Commador rebeled against my father and....and.......Took his head...during battle trying to save me......That day I felt so guilty. I ran away, never saw my mother and sister for 7 years, then I finaly came back becuase of the wars, I had heard stories of what the Commador had done to the lands...So I hastily went back in search for him, and until 9 months ago, I was called Annonamouse. After the war, I fgorgot my name, who I was, and my family. Long story....But, I wont ever forgive him what he did" I said as I smashed the table. "I will get my revenge, if not this life it shall be the next!!! GRAND, please, give my 20 men, and I shall do this on my own, and I shall return, with your info, and the Commador's head." As I put my armor on. I assumed he would do so, and he did.
As I gathered the horses and then men and I rallied up, Grand showed up as if he were ready for battle. "My Lord, where do you think you are going?" I asked "With you of course. I shall help you in quest." He responeded "But if you die..." "I have made my will, you shall be named king if I die, but that will not happen until the real battle between me and my enemies has been completed." He said as he rode off "Aren't you coming" He asked I smirked at him and said "Why the hell not, we are all dead men anyways" I said as we all charged.
It took us 2 weeks tops to reach the borders......
"Lord Kugjen, we shall follow your lead" Grand said as we trotted near the gates...
We sailed onto the unknown lands, with not 20 but 400 men in 2 powerful ships. I, Grand, commanded the first, with half (200) of the whole crew, while Kugjen led us in the other.
"We must take this route, or the guards will find us." Kugjen yelled to me as he pointed into the distant lands.
"Then we shall" I replied. We sailed into the misty waters directly east of our original course. I was not sure if we were heading the right way, so I yelled at Kugjen, on the other ship, for confirmation.
"Are you sure this is the right way?" I yelled. I waited for the response but it did not come... Then we were blinded by the heavy fog that drew upon us... The other ship cannot be seen.
