XT Project Introduction
Blah blah intro to this place. To be composed later.
Final Fantasy 7, Review 0001
Name: Final Fantasy VII (7)
Genre: RPG Release Date: 1997 Created by: Squaresoft ESRB Rating: T (For Teen) Review: This is absolutely one of my favorite games...ever. Though a lot of people don't agree with me (and a lot do equally as well), Final Fantasy 7 is possibly the greatest game of all time in the RPG Genre. An intense storyplot and battling system are what are extremely flashy. Another thing is, this is Squaresoft's first non-sprite Final Fantasy Game. The first Polygonal Game in the series if you will. Instead of going around and buying magic like in old Final Fantasy Games, this game uses the "Materia". Materia which is drawn from Mako (Something that has a great part in the storyplot) are things like magic stones. As you battle, you gain AP Points which are used to level up your materia. The materia can be equipped with either your weapons or your armor depending on which you prefer. Alongside that, there are many combos you can use with Final Fantasy 7's Materia system making your strengths and weaknesses endless. The music isn't too bad either always coming into the right setting. In case you are wondering- the person you begin to fight against is Shin-Ra Inc, Creators of Mako Generators. As a mercenary, you are hired by Avalanche (A terrorist group which coincidently is your childhood friend is working with) to take down a reactor. The story even makes some people cry but not a lot. The major cutscenes are absolutely fascinating for it's time. As for me, this is one of the greatest RPG's. Nuff said.
