RP License Reception Program

How to get your own RP License

Uses of the RP License:

The RP License is required for you to participate in any mid/high-tiered story such as the "Grand Saga", "Origin 33", "Grand Trilogies", etc. You do not need a License if the starter of the story approves your participation in that story, nor do you need the license to participate in your own RPs. Nevertheless, we recommend you have an RP License on hand; having one shows your seniority in RPing and story-writing.

How to Obtain One:

In order to obtain a RP License, you must post up the RP Character (s) you wish to use (Separate topics, please) by making a new topic in this forum and naming it by your FULL CHARACTER NAME. In your post, include the following information: Full Character Name (s), Character Nickname (s), Age / Date of Birth, Relatives (Parents, siblings, children, etc), Class / Job, Gender, Height / Weight, Other Physical Attributes / Appearance, Mental Attributes / Personality (In different situations - be specific), Background / History (Be sure to include the place of Origin), Equipment (Be sure to include what kind of clothes you wear, what weapons you have, etc), Other Information (If you have any drawings, pictures, etc please place them here)

Notify Us

After you post up your Character Profile, either inform an administrator through PM or reply here with a link to your topic. An administrator will then respond to your profile with a grade out of 100 percent.

Grading Policy

You must receive 80% or above in order to qualify for a license. Generally, we pass most applications; only the least quaified submissions are rejected. If possible, all of the administrators will grade each profile; otherwise, you need two passing grades to receive the license. If you passed only on one grade out of two, and the two differ by 10 or more points, a third grade will be used to assess your qualifications.

Grading Criteria

Holistic Grades:
Length: (10+ points)
English Syntax / Readability: (10+ points)
Total / Final Grade: (100+ points)

Profile Content:
Full Character Name(s):
Character Nickname(s):
Age / Date of Birth [If Known]:
Class / Job:
Gender:
Relatives:
Height / Weight:
Other Physical Qualities / Appearances: (20 Points)
Mental Qualities / Personality: (20 Points)
Background / History: (30 Points)
Equipment / Clothing: (10 Points)
Other Information: (Recommended but not required)

Follow the format:

Graders: Check for completion of the profile by determining whether all criteria are completed. Copy all of the following code, and insert the scores for each criteria. Then determine whether the total passes or not.
CODE
[u]Profile Content:[/u]
[b]Other Physical Qualities / Appearances:[/b] (20 Points)
[b]Mental Qualities / Personality:[/b] (20 Points)
[b]Background / History:[/b] (30 Points)
[b]Equipment / Clothing:[/b] (10 Points)

[u]Holistic Grades:[/u]
[b]Length:[/b] (10+ points)
[b]English Syntax / Readability:[/b] (10+ points)
[b]Total / Final Grade:[/b] (100+ points)

Posters: Copy the following code and insert your information; give each character individual topics.
CODE
[b]Full Character Name(s):[/b]
[b]Character Nickname(s):[/b]
[b]Age / Date of Birth [If Known]:[/b]
[b]Class / Job:[/b]
[b]Gender:[/b]
[b]Relatives:[/b]
[b]Height / Weight:[/b]
[b]Other Physical Qualities / Appearances:[/b] (20 Points)
[b]Mental Qualities / Personality:[/b] (20 Points)
[b]Background / History:[/b] (30 Points)
[b]Equipment / Clothing:[/b] (10 Points)
[b]Other Information:[/b] (Recommended but not required)

Warning!

IMPORTANT: All fields must be FULLY filled for the profile to be graded; in the case that a certain information cannot be determined or is unknown (IE: Age), state "Unknown" and give the age from a visual appearance (IE: If he looks 21 or 5, etc). Also, YOUR PROFILE MUST BE IN THE APPROPRIATE FORMAT IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE GRADED and thus for you to receive a license. Do not leave out any of the criteria, and be sure to BOLD all of them, ensuring there is a space between the : (colon) and the content following. "Gender: Male" is appropriate whereas "gender:male" and "Gender:male" etc are NOT.

Exceptional work will receive "Extra Credit" (Marked by "+")

Good, how about we set a goal to grade it within 7 days of the character profile being posted?

By the way, I'm working on fusing the three major topics in this forum

I don't know why, but I feel I must add this......I would prefer it if only two of the admins graded each profile. That way it takes less time and you still get an average score. It mostly depends on opinion anyway, so I say that whichever admin gets to the profile last should just leave it alone.

Since summer is coming up for the west coast (if it hasn't already), this should be even less of a problem though. This rule might not even matter if all three admins are active.

How's this, two admins are required to grade this. The first two to view this. But, if the grades the two admins differ by over 25%, a third is required.

Not that my two cents is of equal value to anyone else's since I am a day old newbie around here, but that sounds like a decent enough compromise.

EDIT:

After looking in on the new rules. I've decided to tweak my character profile just a touch. But it's all in working order now I would think. Enough to pass at least.

I've added a few comments to your profile topic. The things I've stated above are to test how well you read and follow directions

Well, Panther passed by my grade, but I do need to add something else.

Grand, if your system is out of 100, then shouldn't the passing grade be at least 70/100 instead of 60/100?

O_o, d00d, your schools are easy as sh*t!! Anything under 70% is failing here....Besides, we only want the best to be able to write here. We don't really want lenient with anybody now that there are actual rules up.

We're trying to get in multiple reviews, but it will be averaged instead.

that way people can have a more likley chance to be approved. Because I know that GRAND can have his moments when he does grade hard, like he said.

Anything under a 75% in my school is considered failing in my school but from grades K-8, it's all Social Promotion anyways...ANYWHO!

You have to grade hard on people. A key should be made. Grammar mistakes (Large ones), Incorrect Spelling, Incorrect Terms, etc should cost points as well.
